Where do I go when I arrive?

Our festival site is located next door to the Barn Theatre, in the garden of Ingleside House. please enter through the gate opposite the Beeches Road car park. A member of our Front of House team, who will all be wearing BarnFest t-shirts and masks, will direct you to the festival entrance. If a large number of customers arrive at once, we may ask that you safely queue in front of the Barn Theatre’s main entrance. You will then be escorted to the festival by a member of staff.

Why does my ticket specify an arrival time?

To ensure that social distancing measures are strictly adhered to, we have staggered the arrival time across our seats. We ask that customers arrive at the specified time to prevent large queues from forming.

Do I need to wear a mask?

We ask that all customers wear masks at BarnFest. If you do not have a mask, you can purchase one on arrival. All of our staff are also required to wear masks.

How many people can sit in one box?

Our boxes can sit four people. If you are booking for a group larger than four, multiple boxes will need to be purchased. Each box can accommodate one additional child under five years.

I want to purchase less than four seats for the event. Is this possible?

Our tickets are sold as boxes of four. We are unable to sell seats in the same box to different groups.

Will my seats be close to other groups?

All of our boxes are two metres apart to ensure the safety of our customers.

What other precautions are you taking against COVID-19?

Our customers’ safety is our top priority and we have taken all precautions to ensure we adhere stringently to all government guidelines. We will check your temperature on arrival using a non-contact sensor. Hand sanitiser is available across the site and social distancing measures are in place.

Can children enter the festival alone?

All children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult is required for each box with children under 14 years.

Can I refund or exchange my tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable.
We make a charge of £2.50 per ticket on all exchanges.
Exchanges are subject to availability.
We will exchange tickets for alternatives of the same / higher value, for a later performance of the same show.
Should your new tickets be of higher value, you will be required to pay the additional cost.
We will not issue a refund if new tickets are of lower value than the original selection.
You may request an exchange up to 48 hours before the performance.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We have a bar on site serving a range of snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. We do not allow any other food or drink to be brought into the festival.

What if I arrive late? Can I still enter the festival?

For the safety of our other customers, we cannot allow latecomers into the site. Please arrive at your specified time.

Am I allowed to take photos or film the show?

The use of all photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones) is strictly prohibited because of copyright law. We ask that you turn off your mobile, pager or watch alarm before you enter the festival.

I am unable to move around easily, how accessible is the festival?

The festival site is accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues. For people driving to the festival, there are reserved disabled parking spaces in the car park. We have boxes available for every performance with space reserved for wheelchairs.
