Following our successful week-long event last year FRINGE AT THE BARN is back this September for two weeks!

There will be a huge variety of acts, appealing to all ages, including the best of the Edinburgh Fringe, with a mix of established stars along with arguably some of the finest up and coming talent in the UK. From comedy, music and amazing magic to top children’s entertainment, this year’s FRINGE AT THE BARN will have something for everyone.

We’ve already secured six of our great acts including two returning favourites from last year.

Piano_Play – 2nd September

A young man whose piano lessons give him a unique vocabulary. And he needs to tell you something. A play about music/obsession/love. With one man and a piano, all _underscored_ live. Will his ex-boyfriend hear him? For classical music lovers and for people who don’t know they love it… yet.

Spontaneous Potter – 3rd September

Spontaneous Potter returns after successful shows in September 2018 and January 2019! Immerse yourself in an entirely improvised Harry Potter comedy play, based on an audience suggestion of a fanfiction title. An entirely new Potter adventure is magically improvised on the spot – with live musical accompaniment! Brought to you by the comedy improvisers behind the critically-acclaimed and award-winning “Spontaneous Sherlock”.

Spontaneous Sherlock – 4th September

Spontaneous Sherlock is an award-winning, entirely improvised Sherlock Holmes comedy play based on an audience suggestion of a title. Performed in two halves by some of the UK’s most critically-acclaimed comedy improvisers, with live Victorian musical accompaniment. Brought to you by the comedy improvisers behind the critically-acclaimed and award-winning “Spontaneous Potter”.

Tom Brace : Brace of Spades – 6th September

Tom Brace returns with a brand-new magic show for the whole family! Featuring Tom’s unique blend of comedy and magic, the show promises to have a little something for everybody. ‘Classic magic tricks with youthful charm’ (EdinburghGuide.com) ‘Hilarious… joyfully daft… if you want to catch a magic show this Fringe, then this should be it’

I Lost My Virginity to Chopin’s Nocturne in B-Flat Minor – 11th September

Ollie and Laura are in love. Ollie and Laura can’t stand the sight of each other. Ollie and Laura will be together forever. Ollie and Laura are one crispy aromatic duck away from killing each other. The last night of a dysfunctional relationship precedes its one-night stand beginnings in this bittersweet heartbreak comedy.

The Noise Next Door – 13th September

The undisputed masters of off-the-cuff comedy will transform audience suggestions into ferociously funny scenes and songs in the blink of an eye with a perfect blend of ludicrous characters, witty one-liners, and explosive physicality.  The Noise Next Door leave audiences everywhere in awe of their lightning-quick wit and totally original comedic talents. They have appeared on BBC One, BBC Three, ITV 1, BBC Radio 1 and have performed alongside the likes of Michael McIntyre, Al Murray, and Harry Hill.
