Alex Kraus-Williams

Not only does Alex bring heart and soul to all our musical productions, but also a wealth of experience as Musical Director for a huge variety of shows like the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do UK Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

After graduating from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Alex filmed and conducted the concert Girls’ Night In for worldwide airing. Since then, he has worked at The Cheltenham Everyman on four pantomimes, as well as composing the music for their productions of The Glass Menagerie and Cider with Rosie.

Alex is now Head of Music at Dance for Sure in Gloucestershire. On a national level, he spends much of his time writing and arranging music for theatre and TV, including the children’s series, Theo the Mouse. He performs across the UK and is the Arranger and Musical Director for Eurovision winners, Dana and Tammy. Over the years, he has taken huge satisfaction from supporting the next generation of professionals at the University of Gloucestershire, and more recently, people struggling with disabilities.
