DOES THE BARN THEATRE HAVE A DRESS CODE?

Jeans and T-shirt, a business suit, whatever you like, it really doesn’t matter.

IS THE BARN THEATRE CLOSE TO THE CENTRE OF CIRENCESTER?

We are a five-minute walk from the centre of town. Click here for directions.

IS THERE PARKING NEAR THE THEATRE?

Yes, the car park opposite is free of charge from 6pm onwards, or £2 all day if you’re visiting for longer.

I AM UNABLE TO MOVE AROUND EASILY, HOW ACCESSIBLE ARE THE THEATRE PREMISES?

The Barn Theatre premises are accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues. There are reserved disabled parking spaces in the car park. For full information about access at The Barn Theatre, please click here.

DO YOU HAVE A BOX OFFICE?

We have a physical box office located in the Atrium Coffee shop, or you can book tickets online or call 01285 648255 alternatively, contact  for further information.

IF I BOOK ONLINE CAN I CHOOSE MY SEATS?

Yes you can. If you experience any problems, perhaps because of limited availability, you should call the box office on 01285 648255 and they will do their best to accommodate you.

WILL I BE CHARGED A BOOKING FEE WHEN I BUY MY TICKETS?

The Barn Theatre is an unsubsidised charity. To provide a full and comprehensive Box Office service we administer a £1.50 booking fee. This is applied per ticket as is customary throughout the theatre industry. We thank you for your support.

CAN I REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?

Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We make a charge of £2.50 per ticket on all exchanges.
Exchanges are subject to availability.
We will exchange tickets for alternatives of the same / higher value, for a later performance of the same show.
Should your new tickets be of higher value, you will be required to pay the additional cost.
We will not issue a refund if new tickets are of lower value than the original selection.
You may request an exchange up to 48 hours before the performance.

I’M PICKING UP MY TICKETS FROM THE BOX OFFICE. WHEN SHOULD I DO THAT?

At least half an hour before the performance starts, if possible, certainly no later than 15 minutes before the start of the performance. If you do not pick up your tickets five minutes before the start of the performance, we’re sorry, but we reserve the right to re-allocate the tickets.

CAN I GO STRAIGHT INTO THE AUDITORIUM TO SIT DOWN WHEN I ARRIVE?

You may go in and sit down 15 minutes before the performance starts. The bar is open one hour before the performance, and Téatro Restaurant serves pre-show meals, but we do advise that you book in advance.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE? CAN I STILL GET TO MY SEAT?

We understand that delays happen. We do our best to accommodate latecomers but you may not be admitted until a suitable point in the performance so as not to disrupt actors and the audience.

HOW DO I FIND OUT HOW LONG THE SHOW WILL BE?

Approximate running times appear on the show information page on the website or you can call the box office on 01285 648255. Most shows have an interval of 20 minutes.

I’D LIKE TO BRING MY CHILDREN TO SEE A SHOW. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Age guidance on each show is always published. As a general rule, no babies or children under four will be admitted for any production, unless it is a show aimed at very young children. If an age limit is considered appropriate, guidelines will be published.

Please be aware that any child aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

DOES THE THEATRE HAVE ANY CATERING FACILITIES?

The highly-acclaimed Téatro Restaurant and Bar serves pre-show meals from 5.30pm. Make it a night to remember and combine dinner and a show by making a reservation by booking a table with your tickets by calling our box office on 01285 648255

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS OR FILM THE SHOW?

The use of all photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones) is strictly prohibited because of copyright law. We ask that you turn off your mobile, pager or watch alarm before you go in to the auditorium.

CAN I PRE-ORDER DRINKS FOR THE INTERVAL?

Yes you can, at the bar before the show.

DO YOU ACCEPT OR SELL THEATRE VOUCHERS?

You are able to purchase a gift voucher for The Barn Theatre by calling us on 01285 648255 – and these can be redeemed online or over the phone, however we do not accept general theatre tokens unfortunately.

APART FROM SEEING A SHOW, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO AT THE BARN THEATRE?

We offer a variety of events for a wide age range. When you join our Barn Business Club, or our Circle of Patrons, or our Friends, you will have access to backstage tours, talks, workshops for adults and children, holiday courses, and family events. Even if you are not going to the theatre, you can book a table at Téatro, call 01285 648238 or email . You can also book Ingleside House for weddings, events and business meetings by calling 01285 648230.
