Jeans and T-shirt, a business suit, whatever you like, it really doesn’t matter.
Yes, the car park opposite is free of charge from 6pm onwards.
The Barn Theatre premises are accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues. There are reserved disabled parking spaces in the car park. For full information about access at The Barn Theatre, please click here.
Yes you can. If you experience any problems, perhaps because of limited availability, you should call the box office on 01285 648255 and they will do their best to accommodate you.
You will be charged a booking fee or a transaction fee when you book either in person or online. This fee is variable, depending on the show. We also charge £1.50 postage if you want your tickets sent to you.
Our tickets are non-refundable; however, we are happy to exchange tickets for another performance of the same production, subject to availability, up to 48 hours before the performance. Alternatively, we will try and resell your tickets (after all other tickets have been sold). We charge £2.50 per ticket to exchange or re-sell.
At least half an hour before the performance starts, if possible, certainly no later than 15 minutes before the start of the performance. If you do not pick up your tickets five minutes before the start of the performance, we’re sorry, but we reserve the right to re-allocate the tickets.
You may go in and sit down 15 minutes before the performance starts. The bar is open one hour before the performance, and Téatro Restaurant serves pre-show meals, but we do advise that you book in advance.
We understand that delays happen. We do our best to accommodate latecomers but you may not be admitted until a suitable point in the performance so as not to disrupt actors and the audience.
Approximate running times appear on the show information page on the website or you can call the box office on 01285 648255. Most shows have an interval of 20 minutes.
Age guidance on each show is always published. As a general rule, no babies or children under four will be admitted for any production, unless it is a show aimed at very young children. If an age limit is considered appropriate, guidelines will be published.
The use of all photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones) is strictly prohibited because of copyright law. We ask that you turn off your mobile, pager or watch alarm before you go in to the auditorium.
Yes you can, at the bar before the show.
No, but we do sell our own Barn Theatre Gift Vouchers which may be used to buy tickets through the box office. If you would like to buy gift vouchers, please call 01285 648255.
We offer a variety of events for a wide age range.
