If I book online can I choose my seats?

Yes you can. If you experience any problems, perhaps because of limited availability, you should call the box office on 01285 648255 and they will do their best to accommodate you.

Will I be charged a booking fee when I buy my tickets?

You will be charged a booking fee or a transaction fee when you book either in person or online. This fee is variable, depending on the show. We also charge £1.50 postage if you want your tickets sent to you.

If I can’t make the performance after all, can I exchange my tickets?

Our tickets are non-refundable; however, we are happy to exchange tickets for another performance of the same production, subject to availability, up to 48 hours before the performance. Alternatively, we will try and resell your tickets (after all other tickets have been sold). We charge £2.50 per ticket to exchange or re-sell.

I’m picking up my tickets from the box office. When should I do that?

At least half an hour before the performance starts, if possible, certainly no later than 15 minutes before the start of the performance. If you do not pick up your tickets five minutes before the start of the performance, we’re sorry, but we reserve the right to re-allocate the tickets.

Can I go straight into the auditorium to sit down when I arrive?

You may go in and sit down 15 minutes before the performance starts. The bar is open one hour before the performance, and Téatro Restaurant serves pre-show meals, but we do advise that you book in advance.

What if I arrive late? Can I still get to my seat?

We understand that delays happen. We do our best to accommodate latecomers but you may not be admitted until a suitable point in the performance so as not to disrupt actors and the audience.

How do I find out how long the show will be?

Approximate running times appear on the show information page on the website or you can call the box office on 01285 648255. Most shows have an interval of 20 minutes.

I’d like to bring my children to see a show. Is there an age limit?

Age guidance on each show is always published. As a general rule, no babies or children under four will be admitted for any production, unless it is a show aimed at very young children. If an age limit is considered appropriate, guidelines will be published.

Does the theatre have any catering facilities?

The highly-acclaimed Téatro Restaurant and Bar serves pre-show meals from 5.30pm. Make it a night to remember and combine dinner and show by making a reservation here. Please call 01285 648238 or email to avoid delays. Please let staff know if you are booking a pre-show meal.

Am I allowed to take photos or film the show?

The use of all photographic and recording equipment (including mobile phones) is strictly prohibited because of copyright law. We ask that you turn off your mobile, pager or watch alarm before you go in to the auditorium.

Can I pre-order drinks for the interval?

Yes you can, at the bar before the show.

Do you accept or sell theatre vouchers?

No, but we do sell our own Barn Theatre Gift Vouchers which may be used to buy tickets through the box office. If you would like to buy gift vouchers, please call 01285 648255.
